Introduction
As of January 1, 2024, the new ASTAG GU-Tarif (General Tariff) for overland transport has come into effect. At TS Transport-Service AG, we prioritize transparency and fairness in our pricing. We would like to inform our partners and customers about the updated guidelines and calculation bases that apply to our national transport services for the current year.
What is the ASTAG GU-Tarif?
The GU-Tarif is the established Swiss industry standard for calculating transport costs. It provides a reliable framework for:
- National Transports: Standardized freight calculations within Switzerland.
- Overland Logistics: Clear guidelines for truck transports across various weight classes.
- General Provisions: Legal and operational frameworks that protect both the carrier and the customer.
Key Changes for 2024
Based on the official recommendations from ASTAG (Swiss Commercial Vehicle Association), the 2024 tariff includes adjustments to account for the evolving economic landscape:
- Price Adjustment: A linear adjustment of 1.5% has been applied to the GU-Tarif for 2024.
- Cost Drivers: These adjustments are necessary due to general inflation, rising energy costs, and the ongoing modernization of logistics infrastructure.
- Fuel Index: Our calculations continue to follow the current fuel index to ensure that price fluctuations in diesel and alternative fuels are handled fairly and transparently.
Our Commitment to Quality
Despite rising costs in the industry, TS Transport-Service AG remains committed to providing efficient and high-quality logistics solutions. We strictly adhere to:
- ASTAG GU-Tarif 2024: For all overland and truck transport calculations.
- AB SPEDLOGSWISS: We operate exclusively based on the General Conditions of the Swiss Freight Forwarding and Logistics Association (SPEDLOGSWISS).
